While we are not aware of any threats against our parish, we need to be prepared. Hello! I’m excited to be here with you in Ashland as your new seminarian in residence. I was born and raised in Roseburg and converted to the Catholic faith at age 16. After spending the last 8 years in seminary formation at Mt. Angel and then St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park, California, I was ordained a transitional deacon on May 21, 2022. I’m looking forward to getting to know you this summer. Let us pray for one another!
Starting on July 1, on Fridays throughout July, Deacon Matthew will be leading a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament with Sung Vespers and Benediction. The Holy Hour will begin at 6 pm. Please join us!
Beginning this Thursday, July 7, Deacon Matthew will be teaching a class on the Sacraments. The class will begin at 7 pm and will be held on every Thursday in July. Please come and enrich your faith and grow in appreciation of these great gifts of the Church.
