Peace be to you all! ~ ¡La paz sea con todos ustedes!

I am so very excited for our students receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on May 11. Because of our limited capacity in the sanctuary, we will only be able to accommodate one, maybe two, pews per family. Some families will only need one pew. If you could please provide me with a count of family members that will be attending the First Communion Mass, in the form below, I will be able to assign rows. If we cannot fit all family and friends in the sanctuary, the parish hall will also be open for overflow seating. If there is interest, we can also live-stream the Mass on Facebook.

Estoy muy emocionado por nuestros estudiantes que reciben el Sacramento de la Primera Comunión el 11 de mayo. Debido a nuestra limitada capacidad en el santuario, solo podremos acomodar una, tal vez dos, bancas por familia. Algunas familias solo necesitarán un banco. Si usted pudiera por favor proporcionarme un recuento de miembros de la familia que asistirán a la Misa de la Primera Comunión, en el formulario de abajo, podré asignar filas. Si no podemos acomodar a toda la familia y amigos en el santuario, el salón parroquial también estará abierto para asientos desbordantes. Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for the most precious gift of the Holy Eucharist. We ask You to bless all those who are preparing to receive Your Body and Blood for the first time. You have provided for us richly through the gift of Your Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Receiving the Holy Eucharist is a tremendous blessing, and we ask You to help even young children to prepare well before receiving You. Please assist all who are preparing to make their First Holy Communion, and we particularly ask today that You bless and assist all children who are preparing for their First Holy Communion! Help us to grow in love for You each day of our lives. Help us to always appreciate the great gifts You have given us for our salvation. And I especially ask in this novena the First Communicants of Our Lady of the Mountain. Lord, hear our prayers! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Querido Señor, te damos las gracias y te alabamos por el don más precioso de la Sagrada Eucaristía. Les pedimos que bendigan a todos aquellos que se están preparando para recibir su Cuerpo y Sangre por primera vez. Ustedes nos han proveído abundantemente a través del don de su Cuerpo y Sangre en la Eucaristía. Recibir la Sagrada Eucaristía es una bendición tremenda, y les pedimos que ayuden incluso a los niños pequeños a prepararse bien antes de recibirlos. ¡Por favor, ayuden a todos los que se preparan para hacer su Primera Comunión, y les pedimos particularmente hoy que bendigan y ayuden a todos los niños que se preparan para su Primera Comunión! Ayúdanos a crecer en amor por ti cada día de nuestras vidas. Ayúdanos a apreciar siempre los grandes regalos que nos has dado para nuestra salvación. It would be such a blessing if we could storm heaven with prayers for these wonderful children as they prepare their hearts and minds for this sacred sacrament.
