Matthew 5:14 (NAB) calls us "the light of the world." At Our Lady of the Mountain, the music ministry seeks to create opportunities to be that light through music in worship in the Divine Services and our daily lives. Through participation in music ministry, we learn to use and lead music to uplift the congregation and our communities in the service of God. We offer our gifts to God through music and develop our spiritual lives through musical prayer and a deepening relationship with Jesus.

The music ministry facilitates music during masses on weekends and holy days. Additionally, it provides music for other services such as sung vespers, stations of the cross, and other services seasonally outside of mass times. The music ministry also provides music for funerals and other special services for members of the OLM family as needed. It comprises multiple small ensembles from both OLM's English and Spanish-speaking communities and draws on members from across the Rogue Valley.
